About the course
You will be introduced to common business software including Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, Publisher and Powerpoint and other common uses such as internet and e-mail.
As your skills develop you will learn more advanced techniques for managing information and producing quality documents.
Much of the course is based on theory and practical activity from individual workbooks which you complete at your own pace. You will also have the help of a full-time tutor who is on-hand to assist you at all times.
For those who want to do Business Administration, the following topics may be covered:
o Documenting business transactions
o Processing and receiving payments
o Calculating GST (including invoicing)
o Reconciling against financial records
o Petty cash management
o Clerical services and customer service
o Maintaining security and privacy
