Learn how to integrate traditional and contemporary knowledge and techniques when working with food.
First-and-foremost, this course gives you so much knowledge to take home to your whānau. Mahinga Kai tauira often choose to progress further to work with food in a range of different ways.
This course is has an open-entry and everyone is encouraged to apply
40 weeks full-time, starting in February 2024.
There is a cost however we can help you find funding (in most cases) so it is free
A mix of practical experience through face-to-face classroom learning, wananga and field trips. Learning takes place daily, 9am-2:30pm
