Anyone interested in growing and gathering kai, in a te ao Māori context. It's for people who wish to provide healthy, wholesome and low cost food for themselves and whānau. As well as those looking for a career in this space.

40 weeks full-time, starting in February 2024.

There is a cost however we can help you find funding (in most cases) so it is free


A mix of practical experience through face-to-face classroom learning, wananga and field trips. Learning takes place daily, 9am-2:30pm


This programme is currently in revision to align with the New Zealand Certificate Mahinga Kai (Level 3), an NZQA qualification
